Delete your Satranj account

Start an account-deletion request

To request deletion, use the email button below. Please send the request from your registered email address where possible, and include your Satranj username if you remember it. You do not need to reinstall Satranj.

What happens next

1. Moonera receives your account-deletion request by email.
2. We may verify that you control the account, using the registered email or another reasonable step.
3. After verification, we will arrange removal of the account and associated personal data from our active systems, subject to the limited exceptions described below.
4. We will respond with the outcome or explain if additional time or information is needed.

Deleting your Satranj account is different from uninstalling the app or signing out. An app uninstall does not automatically erase your online account.

Data covered by the request

The deletion request covers your account profile, login credentials, friend/block/mute relations, associated chat and game records, ratings, and virtual Satranj Coins and Locker progress, subject to data needed by other players or legitimate retention exceptions. In shared match records, some information may need to be removed, anonymized, or handled consistently with account/deletion dependencies. We will explain applicable exceptions if relevant.

What may remain

Some limited records may be retained when strictly necessary for legal compliance, security investigations, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution. Separately, residual backup data, if any, is subject to backup retention cycles. We will communicate the relevant exception when applicable. Offline-only information saved locally on your device can be removed by clearing Satranj site/app data.

In-app deletion route

If you can still access the game, open Satranj → Settings → Account & Privacy → Request account deletion. This directs you to the same public request page. This web route remains available even after uninstalling the Android app.
